2 weeks down!

I have offically finished 2 weeks of graduate school.

it is strange, but i am back in school. one thing that seems to be relatively true so far is that all the people that were academic, the over-achievers, the talkers in class, the ones that like to do extra...seem to end up in graduate school. i mean there are a few stragglers too but it is a different experience to have so many people ready to talk and state their opinions or thoughts in class. not that this didn't happen at asbury--i just feel like people were less inclined to jump so quickly at the chance.

granted i have only had 2 of my classes twice so far and one of those 2, 25% of the grade is class participation. the other 2 i didn't have b/c of labor day, but i look forward to resuming those next week. i am taking classes on the emotional and spiritual life of the counselor, interpersonal skills, ethics in counseling, and methods of research=stats and APA manual stuff. ethics has not been as bad as i thought, but i am certainly tired by the end...ready to pump up the music on my way home to unwind. too much circular reasoning. it is good though and i know it is relevant.

tomorrow i have a case for work...will end up driving about 300 miles total. sounds awful until i remember that i get $0.53 a mile these days...and taking someone to court so far has always proved informative and interesting.

i was supposed to have an interview this week at ridgeview, a mental health facility. the lady had to go out of town so it looks like another week of rescheduling. what can i do? wait wait wait.

that and study.
the end.
