this week has been a busy one. we had some friends training us in new dramas and dances to use when we go to schools or other areas together. we had a great time, but some of us are a little sore, having used muscles we forgot we had.
there is also a couple here from south africa doing a seminar on the Father Heart of God. It has been good so far and this coming weekend we will have a time of retreat, reflection, and more teaching. It will be a chance to step away from the everyday routine too.
i am officially past the halfway mark of my time here in Nepal. looking back it has been challenging, different, and a time of learning. but still, i am not satisfied. i want my time here the next 2 1/2 months to be even better than the previous. i hope that some of the friendship i have formed, which as of now are pretty on the surface, will become a little more serious. i do not wish to be the white girl that others want to be friends with because i am a foreigner. i want to really get to know these women and children. not everything about Nepal was what I expected or hoped for. some is more, some is less. but still, i know i have a purpose here and will still be used for His glory. it is what I want.
i pray i can make the best use of my time here, and even as we take a few days away, the Lord would make this clear so that if there are any distractions in my life, i can throw them off and run towards what the Lord has for me. the most important thing in my life is to know Jesus. i desire that this be evident in me. it is just as easy to be lazy here in another country as it is at home. always, it is a choice. i pray the Lord will help me in my weakness. i pray i can reflect him.
