It has been a full month of Christmas celebration! I have a bunch of pics that never made it up before Christmas day got here...so I shall just share them as my Christmas post :) All the events and parties each weekend seemed to make this month fly by. Between birthday parties, holiday cooking, shopping, wrapping, and eating...it has been a wonderful few weeks. There has also been quite a surge of competition among my friends over the game Settlers of Catan. If you've never played it, there is lots of strategy involved, but it is mostly just plain fun and can make friends momentary enemies :)

Christmas Eve my family enjoyed one of my favorite Christmas traditions that we have begun over the years...Christmas Eve church service followed by a movie and late-night trip to Waffle House! The first year we began this it so happened we saw Santa and his Elves taking a cigarette break over some waffles. Guess it was a busy night :) This year we saw the movie "We Bought A Zoo." 'Twas a great family movie!
Christmas day we had a good family day of food, presents, games, family time--all the important things! I think I managed to stay in my pjs the whole day :) Today we got to visit some family up in TN for breakfast together and tomorrow our family will head to north GA for a few quiet days away at a cabin before New Years. Looking forward to some time with Jesus and family before we head into 2012. Hope you had a Merry Christmas this year too!
