it's been a while, once again. this semester has been probably the craziest one yet! 6 classes, still working leaves very little free time. definitely learning a lot but there is always need to get away, especially at this point in the semester, when midterms are just getting over, and it feels like work will just never end!
so maria and i headed up to ky this weekend for some much needed fun! our reason for going was to see our old roommate ali get married to dan baer yesterday, and it was quite a wedding!! ali was so beautiful and it was just a big great party with everything you could want at a wedding--good food, dancing, beautiful decor, and tons of family and friends! Jesus was definitely at the center of everything, which is just a part of who ali has always been, which made it all the more beautiful to witness. and she certainly takes the prize for the most beautiful wedding cake i've ever seen!
of course, aside from ali's wedding, maria and i also got to stay with mary lashbrook and enjoy some great time with her and gabe, her new fiance! these two are so cute together and i am so glad to see mary in love and enjoying a great guy that will take care of her and treat her with the honor and respect that she deserves! we got to go wedding dress shopping friday too which so much fun!! she is going to be such a beautiful bride :) then later we hung out with the two of them along with jamesy who was enjoying some free days because of fall break. coffee shops, hand and foot, bella notte, fall weather, and time with friends is always just perfect!
