until we meet again

This past week was spring break and what a wonderful break it was! My parents were generous enough to bring me along to Florida with them for some BEAUTIFUL days at the beach. Seriously the weather could not have been more perfect! I spent my time attempting to read school books while lounging and working on that pre-spring/summer tan and eating some good food :) Here and there I snapped a few pics and thought i'd share my favs!

there were lots of pelicans and other birds out feeding at sunset...each night was beautiful. so much life and yet so peaceful. we even saw a group (school?) of sting rays all gliding together 2 days in a row! they came up really close to the shore...it was pretty cool.

we had one rather friendly visitor that insisted on showing off...or something?

this was on the last day before we headed to the airport. the colors and weather seemed especially beautiful--isn't that how it always is? when you are leaving? sigh...i wish i could have boxed that feeling up of warm water and sand, perfect air, beautiful colors, and R&R to take with me.
